I killed two birds with one stone with this card. It qualifies for the You Can Do It Challenge for this week which is to make a masculine card and it also fits the VSN Mini Challenge to make a card depicting how you "beat the heat" in the summer (camping).
The card base is crumb cake as is the top note die. The ink is soft suede (trees and sponged edges) and red riding hood red (camp fire sponged edges). The fire itself is the bird from the bird punch (idea from Jackie Toga) and the logs are from the word window punch whch was run through the Tim Holtz Woodgrain EF ( idea also from Jackie Toga).

Camping is a wonderful way to cool down! Love your creative way to make the campfire (makes me want to dig out the smores)! Thanks for playing in the Beat the Heat challenge!

Oh my - you made me laugh when you said you killed two birds with one stone as I recognized the bird punch used to make your fire. I know about using the wings to make fire, but haven't thought of using the bird body. Very clever! Nice looking logs too. A great Father's Day card.
