I've been looking for ideas for rainbow cards for my cousin who suffers from a brain injury & saw one posted by Loll Thompson & had to try it! I used a generic Kraft paper for the base & top panel. I used white embossing powder on the "candles" to make the stripes since I didn't have any rainbow paper. I glued a piece of white embroidery floss on before I rolled the candles. I hand stamped the sentiment (as you can tell!) with various alphabet stamps. I paper pierced the edges (I forgot why I don't do that very much...I'm not good at straight lines!) & used a "faux" stitch on it. The top panel is popped up on dimensionals. I like Loll's better, but I hope my cousin likes it! Thanks for looking!

I Love your card too! Thanks for your comments on mine today (Sympathy). I used a bit of sponging as well as brayering, and I also need a lot more practice with brayering (not enough time). I wonder how you did the white lines on the candles, was it free handed with versamark and white embossing powder? It is so effective and attractive! TFS
