While I was looking through the tutorials earlier looking for the name of the technique I'd used, I saw the embedded image technique and thought it would work well with my horse image. I'm not sure why, but when I heated my Espresso ep over the embossed Weathered bg it created that white halo effect. I had to go over my embossing again to try to get more color back. Anyway, it is what it is: No Mistakes In Stamping! I also embossed my Wanted sentiment in Espresso over a scrap piece that had been textured with a Texturz plate and sponged. I used the faux burnt edge and tilted it slightly. I embossed in copper the happy father's day. I used some textured Soft Suede with a hemp accent for my vertical piece and added some copper brads to my dp corner to tie in the copper.

I LOVE the halo effect. I'd forgotten that when I clicked on your link you'd said embedded embossing, and I was thinking you'd coloured it. It's a great effect, one of those lucky accidents.
