This week's Ways to Use It Challenge is to "Get Your Derby On" where we are challenged to use horse or Kentucky Derby related images. I'm still trying to get ahead on Father's Day cards for my card rack. I started with a piece of watercolor paper that I spritzed with homemade spray with Always Artichoke reinker & water. I sprayed really heavily at the bottom then added water to make it run down to the base. After drying with my heat gun, I stamped my horse images across the panel. For my main horse, I wanted a darker image so I embossed it with Espresso ep. I added some Soft Suede sponging around the edges. I stamped and punched my sentiment then sponged Suede and Espresso on its edges. It was looking a little too plain so I embossed a row of stars across the bottom and added a "rope" accent in hardware store twine.
