Trying a new (to me) technique, water stamping. The hardest part was finding the correct paper, it took me three tries! I will definitely use this technique again but only on watercolor paper. I rubbed my beloved distress ink directly on the watercolor paper and gave it a couple seconds to dry. I "inked" my stamp by pressing it into wet paper towels, then pressed the wet stamp onto the paper. I repeated this a few times until I was happy with the pattern. I dried the paper with a heat tool before I stamped the sentiment. I am also trying the Clean & Simple look, it was hard to stop myself from adding more layers!
