Yesterday I tried an ink and water splatter technique but there were a few things that weren't totally perfect. I am much more pleased with this one that I did to-day. The branch and flower die is from Spellbinders. I sponged ink on a masked area then then added the water spots. I found that spraying the water in the air and waving the cardstock through the spray gave a more uniform look and prevented globby water spots like in the first one. (can you say obsessive/compulsive??)

O,K, I have this visual of you spraying and sweeping the card through it...obviously a good technique because this turned out beautiful...Lovely color choice and I like the black gems in the center of those sweet pink flowers!

...sure its got a catchy beat, but can you stamp to it?
life is something that happens only when you run out of cardstock

Oh how I love this! Last year we were in Japan for the Sakura (Cherry Blossom) Festival and this is so reminiscent of the clean decorations one sees everywhere. I love your comment/technique for "catching" spritzed drops...I do that myself. It is less globby, more evenly sized and maybe OCD. My thought on that: It is only a disorder to those who don't have it. I think of it as order, not a disorder. Hugz and thanks for the inspiration.
