what a great idea to add this lovely lady to our t-pot girls...if you dont know what I am talking about go to today's t-pot tuesday and join us. So awesome.
I kept it a simple CAS job...I had the perfect sentiment from before that I just printed off and started with that. Found a cute pic on the puter and drew it, colored it and thought what a perfect way to add some blingage...I mean an apple for the teacher needs to be shiny and red isnt that what they say,....he-he...:0)...Gave me a good way to try out my new embossing folder too....like how it worked..:0)
I added a bit too much " shine" to my little cruncher, so redrew him to fit and decided to keep him not shiny. Just have to figure out how to get a touch of white for his eyes...maybe a needle and some paint. when I was drawing a line with the red marker for the border, I accidently went a wee tad too far on one corner so...hey it needed buttons for the corners anyways,,,,lol. worked fine...whew.
Thanks for the visit and am looking forward to seeing all these fun ty cards and apples...I do live in a valley full of orchards...so I dearly enjoy apples...:0)

Adorable! The look on the worm's face is precious. It looks like you had pre-planned those buttons to "hold" the stitching! (I often have similar embellishment opportunities, but not always in opportune spots! Mrs. Bratvold and her club will certainly enjoy all of these apples (and worms!)

Amazing, beautiful, fun! I love the sentiment and the focus on it. That glittery apple is marvellous! And what can I say about that darling worm? Adorable, but I don't want to meet him while I am crunching down!
