This card was created to honor a World War II Veteran, Bud during "Mail Call" in a service to honor WWII veterans. It is a special surprise part of the service, so I will not be posting this card to any other gallery other than here :-)
Judy Brombach had brought this to our attention and the 5th and 6th grade girls in our Awana club were thrilled to sign the card :-) If you would like to read more details about this service and a way to honor Bud and other veterans- here is the forum link
We are praying that he and the other veterans receive a lot of mail!
This card was created using My Digital Studio and traditional card making techniques. I did not add a lot embellishments and wanted to create a bit of a masculine feel- we thought that these images may be appropriate since we are sure he has seen quite a bit of the world in his service to our country!
Thanks again for looking, and thank you, Bud and all of our other veterans and current military service men and women for serving our country and defending our freedom! May we always be free!!
