Tammie aka Tammie E remembers how she beat the heat as a child with a slip-n-slide! Hate to say it, I too remember my slip-n-slide days! Not doing that anymore!!
As Tammie states, we are "getting smarter" as we age and therefore to beat the heat I would rather go to the beach with my picnic basket! All the comforts with me, lawn chair, drinks, and my favorite foods! A much needed view and maybe a good book to relax is just what I need!
Lighthouse and bird image were fussy cut, colored image with gel pens and ink, and made the sidestep card from a tutorial you may view here on SCS.
So to Beat the Heat I am going to sidestep it and go to the beach!
Thanks Tammie for a great challenge and for sharing your memories with us!

What a really great use of the side-step format to create a great heat-beating scene. It interests me, because while I often use this format for a lighthouse I always have it in the front big panel. I like the depth you've given your scene by having it at the back. And I LOVE the big panel with the Beach sign.
