Another sample for the MIX12 challenge... balancing my warm panel with some pops of cool color. Lots of layers on my background panel, which began as some pieced scraps of DP, and is layered with inks, paint, and stamps. I stamped the dress form on patterned paper, glued it onto a piece of painted chipboard, then embossed the 2 pieces together. I added some color to the image with Touch Markers. I brayered white paint onto my base panel to soften the colors a little.

Wow, Dini/Dina (I really must learn what you prefer to be called), as always your card is wonderful, your description is like a mini tutorial and the finished product is a mini work of art. TFS and for inspiring me.

Dini, this is stunningly beautiful. There is so much interest and dimension to the card and I so, so love it. Interestingly, Leslie Miller spotlighted several cards the past week using different dress form stamps. Now you've both inspired me to pull out my stamps and get busy!
Wow, what an inspiration. Love the layers on the background panel. The brayering of white paint on the background and the embossing of the layed dress form on to the chipboard is my favorite. Thanks so much for sharing more of your fabulous work!

A lovely card and a great example of what you've been saying on the Mix thread - that mixed media does not have to be freeform and abstract. You've used mixed media here and created a card with a wonderful vintage look!
