Today we are to use warm or cool colors on the color wheel with a pop of color from the opposite side of the color wheel. My purple flowers and green leaves are cool shades, while my terra cotta pot is warm.
I used Faber Castell Gelatos to color my purple flowers on water color paper. I used a water brush to blend them. I then added vintage MS glitter to the centers using glossy accents.
My flower pot card base was brayered first with Apricot Appeal. I then sponged Real Rust and Pumpkin Pie inks. Last, I sponged the edges of the pot with Walnut Stain distress ink.
All stamps and dies used on this card are Heartfelt Creations.
