My card for inspiration challenge #384. While looking through the site for inspiration, I came across this picture at the head of the category TOPS and really liked the tree, so I decided to make some faux bark. I ended up making faux birch bark, rather than something like the tree in the picture. Essentially, I painted a brown paper bag with white acrylic paint and added some brown ink to dirty it up a bit and then added lots of little lines with a black Pitt pen. The edges are snipped and curled with a bone folder. I really love how it turned out.
The images are colored with distress markers, spritzed with water and stamped.

This is beautiful Melody! I love this idea that you created - the flowers and bird are gorgeous as well. Also love the sentiment. Great job!
