Trish asked me to be the guest designer for this week's Queen for the Day challenge to honor our newly crowned Queen Joyce Ann (aka AnniePanda). Joyce Anne not only has a marvelous gallery of card samples, but she has wonderful samples of scrapbook pages as well. After taking a stroll through her entire gallery, I chose this lovely card to CASE:
First I turned the card horizontally to accommodate my image, changed the color scheme to blues and golden brown, and added sponging and distressing for a vintage feel.
Joyce Ann, I hope you enjoy your reign this week, and I certainly appreciate your tallent and the inspiration it gave me. TFL

Beautiful card to honor Joyce Ann, Barb. Love the vintage feeling you achieved with your colors, distressing and image of a perfume advertisement. Beautifully done. Congratulations on being the sample maker this week....and doing such an outstanding card for Joyce Ann.
