Today's fun WT challenge is to use either a rainbow or rainbow colours. I so much enjoyed using a rainbow palette for these butterflies over the weekend that I pulled the stamp back out and did it again, using this week's sketch.
White card was sponged with Antique Linen and a hint of blue, then stamped with Linen in Peeled Paint. I embossed it with Kassie's Brocade, sponged the edges with more Peeled Paint and then decided to stamp the swirl from Baroque Motifs in Versafine and dust it with gold Perfect Pearls for a hint of a butterfly trail.
ODBD image stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with distress inks ~ Barn Door, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade, Peeled Paint, Broken China and Chipped Sapphire, Seedless Preserves, and a couple of browns for the twigs and butterfly bodies. Stickles on all the butterflies, and sponging with Tumbled Glass while in the die.
Sentiment is HA, stamped on vellum, then embossed with Swiss Dots.
I edged the main panel and the sentiment with a gold leafing pen.
