I have not seen the FS Lin's gallery before. I enjoyed looking through her lovely cards - but came back to her most recent post - Hello to case today.
I was intrigued by her embossing an image over the patterned paper - I don't think I have seen that before - I certainly haven't done it! so that's what I did today!
I embossed in gold instead of white (it was so hard to get this to show up in my pic - I took about 5 shots to try and get the gold shimmer to show better!), changed the colors and made mine a sympathy card. I added gold sticky pearls instead of a bow.

This is gorgeous, Julia......and the gold embossing beautiful. I'm so glad you pointed out what Lin had done since I missed that completely and it is a WOW technique. You did a FABULOUS card to honor her.
