I really wanted to play along with the Design Memory Craft challenge this month - the challenge is to upcycle something into a mixed media project. The base of my project is a tabbed top from a snack canister, and almost everything that I used for my piece was sitting out on my desk from other projects... there are layers of DP, diecuts and tissue paper, and I used acrylic paint and oil pastels to color in different areas and highlight the wrinkles in the tissue paper. I used thinned PVA glue to hold the layers together, and hot glue to attach them to the metal top. So much fun for a Saturday morning project! Thanks, DMC, for the challenge! The diecuts I used are from Impression Obsession and the sentiment is from Unity Stamps.
