I want to share these three thank you cards I made for some folks who have been so helpful and kind to me during the recent passing of my brother.
This technique was shown on a video by a Stampin Up demonstrator but I can not think of the source at all. Thanks to her for my inspiration.
The watercolor paper was embossed with a Stampinton small script stamp. I smeared Ranger Distress Inks in Tea Dye and Vintage Photo on an acrylic block, spritzed it with water, then smashed it on the paper. Over that I spritzed and stamped the Wild Flowers image from Stampabilities.
Finally I mounted the watercolor paper on Very Vanilla and ran it through the Big Shot with a Cuttlebug folder. I sponged and distressed the backgrounds.
Once that was mounted I added the sentiment from Stampendous and some embellishments.

I'm so sorry for your loss! So glad that you have felt the support of those around you. Love this beautiful card set - sounds like a fun and easy look to recreate in many different ways. Love the embossed text showing through.
