A card using today's sketch, I messed around with some mini mister bottles and distress stains here, using a variety of methods, spraying directly onto the card, sponging, stamping and also spraying on a craft sheet, and running the tag across. The whole card is made with water color paper. Struggling to get past the fear of "making a mess" - on the paper, I mean - mess on the craft table goes without saying!!

Your "mess" looks absolutely gorgeous, Bridget! Wonderful texture, fabulous colors, and a delightful combination of elements! Love the tag for the rectangle panel on the sketch!

Oh Bridget, that is just beautiful. You know me and birds and music . The blue and green are wonderful and the brown adds a touch of warmth.
We were thinking of you on Monday night as we drove up (and back) past the turn for Dromantine.

I'd say this is a successful experiment. The colors you chose to work with are gorgeous together and that burlap horizontal panel seems just the right touch. The bird is perfection. You never cease to inspire me, Bridget!
