EllenH invited me to spend a day in Issaquah at her home. Royal treatment included a fab lunch, cheesecake(!), and stamping in her WONDERFUl studio! She is SO much fun and she taught me to stamp and paint on silk!!!!!!!! She is SO talented, creative, and her positive energy is contagious!

I'm sooooo jealous! Dear dear Ellen, nice to see your smiling face again.
I wish I could have joined you. You both are such great stampers. I can only imagine what you two created. You'd better post something soon!!

We are awfully cute together aren't we It's the smiles and sparkley eyes - Julie, you are truly a gem! You should see the treasures she brought me - for all of those who do know how there are those of us who "hoard" our goodies - well Julie brought me some of the cutest embellishments that I've seen and I must get going on putting them into the projects that are spinning and whirling through my brain. I would love to have you each join in the enthusiastic, energizing time we had - it is sooooo much fun meeting someone with such a positive spirit!!!
For those of you who are dying to see what we created I think you may be severely disappointed - we had so much fun giggling and talking - and I was such a space cadet spending wayyyyy too much time being obsessed with finding my "Flux" so that I could share the how to solder and make glass art pieces with Julie (which of course I never did find in my totally "organzied space" - ha! ha!) that we only barely started our silk dying project and voila it was 8 hours later and not one thing fully completed. I think that we will someday actually sit down and put our minds together to actually create something - but for now we just had a delightful time getting to know one another and laugh at our obsessions!
Oh, the days I get to delight in other's positive energy is sooooo rewarding - I absolutely love it - THANK YOU Julie for making the trek out here to spend time with me!!!
