Happy day everyone! I actually had time to craft for me today and am thrilled to play in the IO Springtime Challenge this evening. This is a variation of a card I did last year for a dear vendor. Play along here: http://mitrafriant.typepad.com/impre...bsession_news/.
I'm a little behind on making cards for our heroes for Operation Write Home, so this one will be heading out later this month for a hero who receives little mail.
I used Impression Obsession peacock tile colored with Copic and Memento markers. The colors look a little washed out in the photo, but they are much more vibrant IRL.
I then heat embossed three layers of UTEE. I toyed with doing the cracked glass technique as I did with my last card, but opted out. The tiles are popped up on foam tape for dimension.
Dry embossed the main layer with a Sizzix embossing folder, added ribbon and a couple of pearls and am calling it a card. Hope you like it and thanks for looking!
