Thanks to Joan Ervin and the Technique Lovers' Challenge, I've learned this fabulous new technique - it is perfect for Christmas cards, and I'm sure I'll use it a lot. It's called "Stamp it, Mask it, Sponge it, and Glitter it up!". See TLC423 for instructions.
In this card, I used a simple stamp of a peace dove - stamped it, masked it, and sponged around it with a light blue and then cut it out with a Nesties label die. With the die still in place, I added a darker blue. I used a glue pen and ultra transparent glitter.
The background dp has some sparkly dots on it so it matches really well.
I used the smallest matching label die for the sentiment.

It took me a while to "get it" had to read the words, because its so dimensional looking with the inking that I had assumed you cut it out and layered it to that color. this is gorgeous Susan!
