Stef sent us to Patina, a wonderful internet site with interesting and some funny items too. I selected this beautiful journal: http://www.patinastores.com/catalog/...r-journal.html
I will be honest, this is version two. The first one I did was okay, but I knew I could do better!
I masked the clouds and did my background in creamy chalks. Then I stamped my border (with London Fog). Next I stamped the vines with Prima Shabby Tote quick drying chalk. I stamped the tower with Rich Cocoa and filled in a little with Copic E25. I stamped the flowering branch with Rich Cocoa and colored in with Copics RV02, Y15, YG63, YG91, YG95 and E25. Also, I used the blender pen to soften the RV02.
Thank you for sending us to such a wonderful site Stef!

You really aced this! WOW..this is totally like your inspiration piece! I love the creamy chalk bg so soft and pretty and your border is gorgeous, just what the Eiffel Tower needs to be framed in. I live near 2 Patinas...wish I could take you to the real store
