My niece asked me to design and make the invitations for her wedding. She had seen this card of mine and wanted a similar look for her invitations. She used the words "urban" and "elegant" into the mix and said she'd love a skyline also. Her colors are grey, dusty pink and blue. I asked for help in the forums to find a skyline stamp and she and I both ended up preferring this one by Viva Las Vegas Stamps. I used Blushing Bride and Baja Breeze for the main colors and stamped in Versafine Smokey Grey for the skyline. The folks at Tsukineko were good enough to email me the RGB matching # so we could print her words in the same grey. After she created the text and printed onto Whisper White cs, I cut them and stamped the skyline. Then I masked over that and stamped the flourish in pink and the spatter in blue. We backed this with a 5x7" sheet of Baja Breeze and punched a double hole to make the flat "bow"in Baja Breeze seam binding. My favorite part of these is how the flourish just fit around the top part of the text. I also loved that my mom and sister helped me assemble them and the bride did the text-a real cooperative effort!

That turned out really beautifully, Gail - she must be thrilled with this, and the guests should be pretty impressed too!
Is it really about a year since you were here! Gosh, I know you thought the weather wasn't great then but compared to this year you were blessed with GREAT weather last year, LOL.

This is beautiful and I'm very impressed by the team effort that went into making them. I doubt I'd ever have the courage to make wedding invitations! TFS
