I "met" Sharon was during last year's Journeys vsn, when I hosted for the first time. My challenge was to use a map (or map/globe image) on a project. Here's Sharon's card:
I substituted a menu for the map, a layered fishtail banner for the offset label, and my vehicle is a knife, fork and spoon!
Many thanks to my niece, Ruth. She and her DH took a re-positioning cruise last fall, and (sweetheart that she is) she collected all manner of paper for me to use. This was the menu from one of the cruise dinners. Different kind of journey!
Head's up, all. The Dog Days of Summer vsn is fast approaching, with the mini on the first weekend in May.

Whohoo! can't wait for VSN! So fun that you used a menu instead of a map. What a great card; love that sentiment!
Thank you for playing. This was so fun! See you at VSN!

Oh goodness gracious girl, that is just the cutest card ever. Love that your niece collected menu's (a brilliant idea on your part) and that silverware is just perfect with it. Of course, I resemble that sentiment. Great card.

This really made me smile! I love the menu and the cutlery. I don't go out for meals very often, but last Sunday my DD invited me out for lunch at an upscale restaurant, which had a similar menu. The food was good and very nicely presented, but I was still hungry when we left the restaurant!
