Saturday I took a class at my favorite stamping store. The ArtLenz system allows you to create images with faux motion, faux depth, magnified color intensity, and/or images that appear and disappear (check out www.artlenz.com)... to 'see' these effects requires 'in person' viewing with both eyes, but scanned images will not reproduce the effects. We did a number of techniques in class and it was a blast.
This one is my favorite from class. The background colors move & "disappear" within each little grid block on here while the dragonfly appears to be floating in front of the grid of colors. The grid was done using the ArtLenz grid action stamp inked up with a spectrum pad then stamped onto glossy white CS. The dragonfly & text background were then stamped in black ink on the CS. Then the ArtLenz Lens sheet was applied over all that. Every person in class who tried the grid had awesome results. Of ALL the ways to 'use it' (ArtLenz system), this was my favorite.
