This is for Mixability Challenge 9 - Construction Zone. The challenge was to use metal, layer some appropriate paint/ink medium like alcohol ink or acrylic paint over it and then sand or distress. This is my first attempt - so it's kind of a cheat. I can't use alcohol inks and the nearest acrylic paint is in a store 45 minutes away, so I improvised. I used tinfoil for the medallion in the center and then used color-core paper for the BG and sanded/distressed that. So both metal and sanding, only not together.
My next card I did figure out a sort of workaround. I guess it's time to stock up on some new and different types of supplies! Can't wait!

Very pretty and fun! I like how your tin foil shape has embossing that mimics the sanded embossed bg. Looks like you had a lot of fun this weekend...sometimes you just have to make do with your supplies..and you can surprise yourself. ;)
