No foolin'...it's time for the Creative Crew again! This is also my last month in my term on the Design Team; I've had a blast! I hope you all play along with us too.
This is my page for the Scrapbook Focus Challenge: "Punch it out! This month, make punches the focus of your scrapbook page. Challenge yourself by using a punch in a new way or using MDS if you haven't before."
I've had this great photo of my son for over a year because I just couldn't decide how to scrap it. This challenge was just what I needed! See that fun chevron panel? I made it with the Petite Pennant Punch and More Mustard and Basic Gray cs! Pretty cool, don't you think?! The other part of the page that I'm especially excited about it is the silver splotches. I made those with my Aquapainter and Platinum Shimmer Paint.
I found this fabulous layout at sketchabilities.blogspot.

What a fantastic page! I only realized your chevron was pieced from the other picture. I just love your mix of text, stripes and chevron - what a great mix of texture on a really masculine level.

Regina, I LOVE this layout and what a perfect masculine s/b page for your son. It's never too late to do a s/b page. That's what is so nice about it. I love your creativity on making the chevrons and the splotching technique. You did a terrific job!
