This is for the Inspiration Challenge this weekend. The website is "Eglantyne Shop" and even though all the descriptions are written in Chinese, I still couldn't stop browsing the beautiful items on every page!
I chose this "Rose Silk Box" as my inspiration piece. I loved the colors and the softness of it.
I started with a textured panel of cardstock and very lightly rubbed ink over the raised texture to bring out the pattern just a bit. I then heat embossed the image in white EP and colored in the poppies with watercolor crayons. I finished it off by adding a dry embossed border and a bracket of bling across the top of the panel to balance the placement of the image.
