I'm really late to this party, but in all honesty, I found this Hampton Arts Square Face Frame stamp while looking for another. I remembered the challenge to use a woman on your project and decided to make a card using the image.
I have been trying to find an alternative to buying a Gelli plate and had a print started created from acrylic paints, Distress Stain, chalk ink and purple metallic ink. I stamped the image using VersaFine Onyx Black, then overstamped a scribble flower image by Ditto in gold. On another portion of the print I stamped a large Flourish stamp with VersaMark and poured on clear ep. Oops, the rest of the piece wasn't dry and grabbed the ep. Happy accident, I really like the way it turned out. Another happy accident is the color behind her lips! I have uploaded a close-up if you would like to take a better look. You can find it here:
I realize this won't appeal to everyone, but this image just spoke to me of women waiting for their mates to return - from the hunt, from war, from business trips - all the reasons we have waited through the centuries.
As always, thanks for looking!

I was just taking a peek thru your gallery and saw this card! I think it is so COOL! Her face is so interesting, beautiful and the different techniques you used add such fabulous bits of color!!! Awesome card! LOVE that torn edge too!
