I made the mistake of stamping on textured paper, so I ended up using the ink to paint in the image by hand. It took forever! I also used a makeup sponge to layer on the background ink, but the edges of the sponge left messy lines, and it started to break down very quickly. I love the sponged look, so I'll have to find something else to use and try again.

I love the soft shading of your sponging, and the lovely light-filled colours.
My solution to stamping n textured card (because sometimes I love the look) is to use a stamp positioner, re-ink the stamp and stamp a couple of times. But your work with a paintbrush looks flawless!
