Karen gave us another fabulous color combo to work with today: More Mustard, Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight and Very Vanilla for the neutral. I also went for dessert with a spring card. I decided to do a one layer card since I will have to mail this to my oldest DD who just moved away :( She and I grew all the flowers for her wedding last fall and so I knew I wanted a flower. I've had this jumbo peony stamp waiting for ink so I decided to give it a whirl. I inked it in Versamark then More Mustard and embossed in clear ep. I used a wet paintbrush and ink from the ink pad lids to add most of my color to the pretty flower. I then went back and added a bit of extra color with markers. I masked this and stamped my Script bg (which is an Irish Blessing) in Turquoise and also sponged in the same color. I cut my banners and added a Mustard button with some Turquoise twine. I promise that the blues match better IRL.

so perfect for the Spring dessert CC challenge...you used the colors in just a lovely way. I enjoyed hearing of your gardening gift for the wedding...don't you just love Spring with the hope that is in all creation for a new season?
