For this week's TPT challenge. What a fun theme - if I can find the time I have another card in my mind. I have brought soup (a recipe, at least), but it's not chicken soup so this rooster is for the front door.
5 3/4" square base. The paper is BoBunny, and I'd stamped it with brown flourishes a while ago and sponged the edges. The rustic look suited my rooster; I added some Core-dinations embossed with barbed wire and brads to finish it off.
Image stamped on white card with Versafine Black, coloured with Couleur d'Art pencils and then the background sponged in.

Love this, Sabrina! You have a great eye for knowing just what background will set off a focal image! This one, with the stripes of different treatments, is fabulous (aren't those core-dinations papers great?)! And your "Chanticleer" is wonderfully colored! (I want that stamp!)
You always inspire me!

Now here I thought you'd use your image of the chicken in the soup bowl!! This is wonderful...great recipe......if I only read French. I do love onion soup!! When my kids were young, I used to make it a lot, and called it "French Soup". They loved it, and didn't know what they were eating - for years!!!
