just let me say, Karen, thank you for your most color combo stretching exercise I have EVER participated in! Didn't seem too bad when I read your write-up and I can imagine your daughters dress was lovely. I just wasn't feeling the combo. So go easy on me, 'k?
The daffodils are from Impression Obsession. I stamped them on yellow text script paper and the cut and paper pieced with More Mustard. The sentiment panel is also the MM with TH di walnut stain as my ink for both the flowers and verse. The tempting turquoise background is actually a very old MME paper...I love it's splotchy. And then I ended with my take on a bow...definitely not my strong suit! I admire you girls who use ribbon in beautiful and creative ways...
Thanks for having a look...

Hi, Susan! I hear you with the ribbon/bows...not my strong suit for sure but yours turned out wonderful! Really like how you've used the colors sparingly...turned out quite CAS!

Beautiful, Susan! Love the dimension on your flowers and your bow looks just fine to me. I know what you mean, though, because I find tying bows to be very challenging.

Hi Susan. Always makes me happy to see you in the gallery. I'm having computer problems so no uploading for days. I love this little CAS gem that reminds all of better weather to come. I miss daffodils as they don't easily grow here. The way you combined the colors on the daffodils is so beautiful.
