I made this card for the MIX8 challenge to create a background by tearing scrap pieces of designer paper into little pieces, adhering them to heavy cardstock, canvas, or other surfaces, then add ink to tie them all together.
I tore dsp by 7gypsies into strips and pasted onto kraft cs. I used Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain Distress Inks to sponge the edges, then ran it through my Big Shot using a Cuttlebug ef. Walnut Stain was use to highlight the embossed areas, and the piece was then adhered to a kraft card base.
