I'll try to explain without making it too complicated. Stamp and color the image, cut a slit right under the valance with an Xacto knife. Cut a piece of CS about 3 1/2" long and the width of the window opening. Glue a 1/2" X 3 1/2" strip to the top of the "shade" (This will prevent it from pulling all the way out.) Fold the bottom up twice about 1/4", attach eyelet. You can either stamp the window right on the card front, or stamp your background first, glue the cut out window on top, then make your slit. Insert the shade through the slot (stamping your message first), then glue your card front on the card. Hope that explains it, but if you have any questions, you can PM me.
this is a beautiful card. I had a question on if the shade slides up, or if it folds up. I do alot of looking, but not much posting. I was not sure where to find your email, so could you PM me at firstname.lastname@example.org please? thanks!
