I made this for friend who suffered a devastating loss. Sympathy cards are always hard, so I used this week’s sketch to help me out.
The images are from DRS Designs. I stamped the Flower Cross, colored it w/ Copics and die cut w/ a Spellbinders long rectangle. It was a little too long, so I shortened it a bit using a variation of my Nestie Resizing Technique. The tan marbled piece was die cut and embossed. For the darker goldish/brown, I embossed it w/ a frame folder.
The sentiment was white embossed on more of the same dp and die cut w/ a fishtail banner die. The next smaller size banner was cut out of the tan marbled paper and attached on top. I added a few Candi buttons to finish my 4.25 x 5.50 card.

Julie, you card is so beautiful! Your cross with the rose is lovely and your neutral color palette is wonderful! LOVE all the rich texture with your embossed layers. Your polka dotted buttons are so sweet. I just love everything. Your gorgeous card is sure to mean so much to your friend during this time of sadness. I appreciate your sharing it with us tonight!
