This is my sample for Trudy's Mix-Ability challenge this week! I took 3 different scraps from my purple file, and tore them into inch-ish pieces, and stuck them down on a cardstock panel with watered down glue (no Mod-Podge in my corner of the world...). After it was dry, I ran the panel through my Big Shot with a Tim Holtz embossing folder, then rubbed a white dye ink pad over the raised areas. I think I had the folder upside-down - but there are no rules, right? Thought this dkdesigns sentiment from Impression Obsession (Key to Change) summed up my crafty experience...

This is simply stunning Dini!
Love the colors and textures. The flowers and leaves are darling. They are such a great compliment to that pretty sentiment!
Thanks so much for playing along and for letting me use this beauty as a sample!

Embossing that background was a great touch! Beautiful piece, Dini!

Well, here I go again-now I think THIS is the most gorgeous of your cards to date-I am not a lover of purple, but this is stunning! The background panel is phenomenal and the flowers you made with the dies is awesome as well.
