This week our cards are headed off to Bill, in beautiful Bend, Oregon. Bill has just gone through some Leukemia treatments, now he is in isolation for 100 days. So in come the Teapotters to bring a little cheer.
I've got Eeyore in this hot air balloon, but he's taking a side trip through the wonderful Sonoma County Wine Country. The mustard is in bloom in the grape vineyards and fields, the trees are blooming and budding with new leaves. I hope they get moving along soon, but I think I overheard Eeyore talking about going to see the Peanuts Gang. Maybe Snoopy can get a plane at the Charles M. Schulz Airport and get Eeyore to the Balloon Festival on time.
If we're lucky, maybe Snoopy can talk Dewie and Eeyore into coming back for the Sonoma County Hot Air Balloon Festival, set for June 14, 15 and 16.
The Hot Air Balloon on this card is from fabric that has various sizes of balloons and kites on it. I've used one of the kites for a past MMTPT. The balloon is adhered to c/s with Heat n Bond, then fussy cut and applied with dimensional adhesives. The hills of Sonoma Couty are various green scraps, the greenery is from the Memory Box Fabulous Phlox dies, cut from two different shades of green c/s.
I will put an inspirational verse inside.

Jennifer, you do such magic with fabric and thread - absolutely gorgeous. The balloon looks like the sun is actually bouncing off each rib of hte balloon.
