I decided to combine the MIX7 Splatterific and F4A160 Singin the blues. I think this ended up more as a MIX6 and MIX7 for the mixed media. I started with TimHoltz tissue paper with a music note theme. I splattered Dylusions blue ink all over it. Then I tried stamping with Gesso using some new stamps from Pink Paislee (Portfolio) as I was going for a birthday card for my niece originally. Then I sprayed again with the Dylusions ink. I wanted to crinkle the paper into the size needed for a card and add the die cut over top, so I mod podged the the tissue paper effectively losing all of my splatters. I forgot it was water soluble! Not thinking. So then I tried splattering some Gesso drops over top to bring back the splatter theme. Not sure I loved that so much. SHould have left well enough alone. I mod podged this onto some spare blue paper which accentuated the blue colour and put it onto a very vanilla card. As I didn't have a stamp that said "Just a note" which is what I had decided this card should be given the music theme, I was about to start mounting letter stamps when I noticed this sticker set from Jillibean Soup which was sitting near the top of my piles!
