Started with a computer printed definition sheet--the definitions all had to do with love and were leftover from a previous project. Printed on computer paper. Did the gesso technique to this above described paper: MIX6 OR TLC217
My advice?? While you've got the mess going, do a stack of quarter sheets and then you'll have a stash. They store nicely in sandwich sized ziplocks.
Let this dry completely before attempting to do anything else. Then I embossed the piece with Stampin' Up! Flower Garden embossing folder (EF) with the outline going down into the paper rather than being raised. This leaves the shape of the flowers as the raised part, but not the hard outline.
After that I just applied inks with sponges in the colors listed below. The Cajun Craze was just on the very edge. The gesso softens the look of the colors.
It's really a very simple card to make--especially if you already have a stash of the gesso papers.
Hope this makes sense.
