My dear friend Dawn gave this wonderful Hero Arts flower to me for my birthday last summer so I made this thank you card for her using the flower stamp she gave to me. Baha Breeze is one of Dawn's favorite colors so I used that as my inspiration color. I cut a piece of 7"x10" Baha Breeze cs and I folded it in half to make a 5x7 card. Using Baha Breeze ink, I stamped the SU en Francais word background onto the card base. I used a retired SU plastic stencil to emboss the swirl motif over the words. I taped the stencil down with stencil tape, and tapped a versamark ink pad over the open areas of the stencil, removed the stencil, covered the card front with clear ep, and heat embossed it. I stamped the flower 2 times using black stazon ink. I used sponges to transfer the ink from the ink pad directly onto the stamped images. I cut both flower images out by hand, trimming close to the inked edges, and cutting one flower smaller than the other. I adhered the smaller flower image onto the larger flower using dimensionals. Adhere lilac-colored self-adhesive pearl to flower center. Using SU Slot Punch, punch out half a punch in the folded edge of the card base where you want your ribbon to go. Make double bow using organza ribbon and wrap around card front running ribbon through the slot punch.
