This was fun but...I'm still not sure I like my card today. I got to the point where I couldn't do anything else with it (OK I could but in my mind I was done with this project). I wanted to do use the gesso like Birgit did on one of her examples and get a thicker looking element...I used the negative part of a Cheery Lynn branch die. I really like how that part turned out. I used various acrylic paints, stamped my butterfly and embossed, then colored with Prismas and gel pens for accents. The foil paper is origami.

I love this!!!!! It's got so much texture and movement....so much to look at and it all fits! The great thing about mixed media is that it's really hard to mess it up...seriously....I'm living proof. But your card is truly the most fun I've seen in AGES!!!!!

I LOVE your butterfly!!! The stamp along with your coloring is so pretty!!! I think your gesso leaves are wonderful! How clever to use the negative of a die to make the shape! Super cool Polly!!!
