Birgit's MixAbility challenge today was to use newspaper and gesso, and I've combined it with Dawn's challenge to use eyelets. I hope to make a different card for that later on, but the little sun eyelets made perfect flower centres!
5 3/4" square base. CAC Flourishes stamped on white card with black and layered on black.
I cut and gessoed my flowers before work. They curled up amazingly with the gesso, and even after I sponged them with inks they kept some of the curl which was a bonus. TH Tattered Florals, and I used Festive Berries, Fired Brick, Mustard Seed and Salty Ocean. Foliage is cut from Bazzill, the butterflies from Bazzill Bling, and I added a few Dew Drops where they fit into the flourished pattern.

This is a beautiful and happy card, Sabrina! I love the colors you chose for those soft flowers and the way they play against the crisp b/w background (another CAC I might need to buy!). Love those eyelets as well!
