I created my card by covering my background panel with strips of newspaper and then adding a layer of White Gesso with a paint brush. After the Gesso dried I dabbed paint (Ranger Distress Paint in Spun Sugar & Picked Raspberry) 0ver the stencil (The Crafter's Workshop - Flutterby). The butterfly was made the same way, cut out and attached to card. I added pearls for the butterfly body. Stamps are from JustRite (Grand Sentiments)
