This is for our 24th wedding anniversary. I thought I would try out the chalkboard technique for the first time on my husbandÂ’s card in case it didnÂ’t work out (he understands these things ;-). IÂ’m pretty happy with my first attempt. IÂ’m even happier that I found the stamps in the dollar bin. The You + Me stamp is a StudioG block I found at MichaelÂ’s and the 4 EVER XOXO is a clear StudioG set I found at Wal-Mart. They go pretty nicely together. The flourish is from an old Fiskars set IÂ’ve had for years. I didnÂ’t have the right die shape I wanted so I modified Spellbinders Labels Twenty. I knew I was going to rough up the edges anyway so I wasnÂ’t worried about a precise cut. I also dry embossed and sanded the DP which is a beautiful technique I saw on SCS a couple of weeks ago. I hadnÂ’t tried that before and the cards were all so beautiful. Fun, fun, fun! Thanks for looking and have a great day!
