I haven't had much time to stamp this week. We had a big snow storm with shoveling etc to do and my SIL found a job so now he and DD are moving in less than 2 weeks! Lots to do in preparation. All that to say that this is an image I'd stamped and colored while away over the weekend, but I hadn't put it into card form yet. I had the piece of Rich Razzleberry that had already been stamped with the Canvas bg. I embossed the Swallowtail image in black ep. I started with colored pencils and then used a blender pen thick with pastels over that. The final addition was red and white gel pen accents with a Razzleberry shadow around the edges. I then masked the butterfly and spritzed with a homemade spray made with various blue reinkers and water. Today I stamped my sentiment and die cut the banner. While it was still in the die I sponged with Turquoise. I then glued onto the card front and used a piercing guide to pierce around the banner. I kept it CAS and just layered onto a base of Tempting Turquoise.

That's wonderful that your SIL has found a job - but I'm sure you'll miss them if they're moving away! Your butterfly is quite spectacular - amazing colouring and shading.
