This card is on it's way to Jean, a cactus lover, who is suffering from macular degeneration and can no longer craft. I bought these 2 desert stamps on a trip to Las Vegas at a local store called Viva Las Vegas. I masked the cactus and then stamped the hills. The scene was then watercoloured. It's finished off with a leather strip and buckle.

What a beautiful water color scene you have created Liz! I love that lone little pink bloom on top. So cute. I think that belt buckle ribbon treatment is so cool, really gives your card a truly western feel. Thanks so much for playing along today. Jean will love your card. Hugs~~~

LOVE your gorgeous coloring!!! And I am completely jealous! LOL I want to go to that store someday! : ) That truly is a fabulous stamp, but it really is your amazing water coloring that makes is so special! Excellent leather "belt" trimming too!

Your watercoloring is beautifully done on this pretty Western sunset scene. Love the little owl tucked in there......a burrowing owl does make its home inside cacti. Jean will certainly enjoy your card.
