It's always interesting how a card evolves. I didn't plan on making a Christmas card but, you know, it happens. Because of a family funeral, I got behind and had to combine some challenges (always a bigger challenge!).
I have trouble with this chevron background stamp but wanted to do the F4A chevron challenge. Either my clear ep is getting old or I just can't make this stamp work so some of my sponged ink got into the resist part (and I used a flecked cs so that's part of it as well). Well, I think it adds some interesting texture. I also chose this FS card to case: IC361 Mistletoe Ornament by suen at Splitcoaststampers. I liked the idea of the multiple diecut openings. Unfortunately I didn't plan that well so the center circle is popped up, not lined up and since I had some red on my sponge, it mixed with the baha breeze and i got a third color. All intentionally part of the plan, of course. But, all in all, I kind of like the effect. I will try this technique again with more consistent results, I hope.

This is wonderful! I love the colors..even the intentional one, lol. Can't tell you how many times I've done that. I'll have to see if our Mike's has that stamp.

This is so lovely!!! Your colors are so pretty and the flecks are awesome!!! LOVE your fantastic design, so cool how your twine is like the Christmas tree!
Very cool card, Jean! I LOVE what you did with the chevron pattern! Red and baja is a great combination and the flecks add interest! I like the star gem, highlighting the sentiment! Thank you for taking time to CASE one of my cards.
