 | | It's always interesting how a card evolves. I didn't plan on making a Christmas card but, you know, it happens. Because of a family funeral, I got behind and had to combine some challenges (always a bigger challenge!).
I have trouble with this chevron background stamp but wanted to do the F4A chevron challenge. Either my clear ep is getting old or I just can't make this stamp work so some of my sponged ink got into the resist part (and I used a flecked cs so that's part of it as well). Well, I think it adds some interesting texture. I also chose this FS card to case: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...p;ppuser=37504. I liked the idea of the multiple diecut openings. Unfortunately I didn't plan that well so the center circle is popped up, not lined up and since I had some red on my sponge, it mixed with the baha breeze and i got a third color. All intentionally part of the plan, of course. But, all in all, I kind of like the effect. I will try this technique again with more consistent results, I hope. |
