I wanted to join today's featured stamper challenge....sue..SUEN...she has a wonderful gallery...I had such a fun tour and enjoyed all the different beautiful works...join us as well...:0)...you will be so inspired here...:0)
I finally saw this one, http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...p;ppuser=37504 and I had the stamp set and loved how she worked with it so wanted to case it.
I changed the colors, added a different sentiment, some border lines and a sparkly...( who me...I wouldn't do such a thing...lol )...butterfly.
I stamped the vine borders, stamped the flowers in in amethyst, and sponged the edges in a deeper purple,, cut them out and raised them, added the black leaves and butterfly which was stamped water colored..which now you cant tell as when I tried to add a touch of glitter it covered the coloring part...which was different shades of purples. then also fussy cut it out and raised it up as well.
I am not sure if this is Tracy's fav. color, but I know its one she likes. So wanted to wish her a purpley happy birthday from all us staff that work with her.
Thank you Sue for the great inspiration and enjoy your week and reign. Also ty all for the visit...:0)

So pretty in the purple.
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. ~Leo Buscaglia
Beautiful card, Wendy! Your card is just wonderful done in the royal purple colors! I love the lighter centers, darker edges and the addition of the leaves and butterfly! The continuation of the lined frame is a great idea, too! Thanks for taking the time to CASE one of my cards!
